"Paris, Paris, Paris. C’est sur la terre un coin de paradis …" Again and again, the incantation sounds. Paris, paradise on earth. The record is broken, commenting on the odyssey (or initiation story) of Anta und Mory who want to leave their hometown of Dakar, with its traditions, constraints and hostility, to go to France, a place of longing. They get closer to their goal with all the coolness, tricks and petty crime they can muster.
